With the debut of the movie 2012, lots of people have started to believe what the Mayans have predicted: that the world will end in 2012. Accodring to the movie, we here on earth are all going to get swallowed up unless you have a billion dollars to secure your place on the massive ark built to withstand the chaos. Although the Mayan calendar actually goes past 2012, people have turned their attention to this notion of the end of the world. Actually, there is another place that talks about the end of the world. In the Bible, it predicts what’s going to happen. If you go to the last book of the Bible, you can read all about the last days prophecy. Actually, if you were to read the book of Revelations, you will see how a book that was written over 2000 years ago could be so accurate as to what will happen in the future. When you see the world news, you will see that everything is setting itself up to fulfill the last days prophecy. As the United States plays a big part in international matters, there are things going on right now that will contribute to the part played by America in Bible prophecy.
It isn’t a matter to panic about just yet, but in my humble opinion, it is a matter that one should be familiarized with. To do more research, go get a Bible and in the last book, turn to Revelation chapter 13. After you read it for yourself, you will have firsthand knowledge of what it says will happen. Then just wait.
